Firewall is blocking everything

Hi guys

for some reason my firewall using 10.8.5 is blocking every connection in and out.

I have tried deleting com.apple.alf.plist and rebooting but that did not fix anything.

I don't get any prompts when opening any apps like chrome or any network apps.

I have tried adding apps manually to the firewall pane but they still get blocked along with my wifi connection.

any help would be great.
