Before updating to 15.0, on Sonoma, I had an entry in my Firewall for Brave Browser and had configured the Firewall to block incoming connections for the app.

After updating, like many others, I had issues connecting to the internet with the firewall enabled while using Brave, so I managed to allow Brave through the firewall through the terminal command below:

/usr/libexec/ApplicationFirewall/socketfilterfw --unblockapp com.brave.Browser
(Yes, it's just the name of the package and not the path to the app which I think may be a part of the issue)

That worked and continues to work now, but I want to remove the Brave entry in the Firewall all together, however any change I make to Brave in the Firewall doesn't stick. Even if I remove the app it return once I open and close the panel. Trying to remove the app from the terminal has also provided no success. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I've run into the same.

A few days ago I wanted to mirror the screen of my M1 MBA to my Apple TV 4k but it continually failed. Found I couldn't mirror to any device. Tried on my mini running 14.7.1 and iPhone with no issues mirroring on either. After way too long troubleshooting the MBA I turned off the firewall and mirroring worked fine.

Found several entries for Brave (browsers, GPU, helper etc) and many other apps as well as a duplicated entry for an app. Deleted them and when opening it back up the deleted items had returned. I kept trying and finally got to stick for some reason but don't know why. There are 5 apps that just won't stay deleted no matter what I try. Ended up just turning firewall off. Definitely bugged. Hope they can fix soon.
