firewall still asks if I want to allow or deny certain apps

I turned on the firewall and in the advance menu I set iTunes to allow incoming connections and some other apps like plex & jdownloader but every time I go on either apps a box pops up asking if I want to allow or deny connection, isn't it supposed to automatically allow?

Don't know about plex but Jdownloader does this for me too. It hasn't been code signed by the creators so the firewall always asks.

I used to have this problem with iTunes regularly after a fresh install, to fix it I used to drag iTunes to the trash. Then download iTunes from Apples website and install it.

That always seemed to fix it, as it sorted out the code signing.

I have this problem with iTunes as well. I have tried a bunch of the tricks to get it to work and none of them do.

Lion seems to have fixed this for me.
