Firewire 800 to USB 3.0 adapter?

I'm fairly sure the answer is no based on my search, but is there a Firewire 800 to USB 3.0 adapter? I have a 2.5" external that is Firewire 800 and USB 2.0, would like to use it on my rMBP at Fw 800 speeds.

No adapter exists. You need the Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter from Apple.

Move the drive to a USB 3 enclosure (very easy to do), and enjoy transport that is faster than FW800. Look for enclosures at Newegg.
