Firewire External HD case

Yeah Yeah, I know its been done a million times over but was wondering if there was an update on the situation? What do you lot recommend/use? I'm in the process of flogging my noisy LaCie in favour of a silent IDE HD in a case. Must have firewire cos I wanna boot from it too. Thanks

I like the MacAlly aluminum fanless cases - they have models with FW400, or FW400/USB2, or FW800/400/USB2

You could just keep the Lacie housing and put a quiet HD of your choosing in it. That's what I did, and now it's much more appealing (Samsung spinpoint - nice and quiet)
