I have an external FireWire (400) HD that refuses to mount in Windows Vista x64. The drive functions perfectly in the Mac partition.

I have tried formating it to FAT32 and NTFS in the Mac partition, but Vista still won't mount the Drive.

Vista makes a beep when I connect the Drive, and it recognises it in the Status Bar, (where it gives me the option to safely disconnect the Seagate device).

I don't mind formating the Drive again as I do have a backup... any suggestions? I am very new to Windows and have no idea what steps I should try next?

I finally managed to find a tutorial on YouTube, but what format should I use when formatting the Drive? GUID or Master Boot Record?

I will only be using the Drive with Leopard and Vista x64.
