Firewire Internet Sharing Not Happening for Me

I've linked my ibook and eMac together with firewire and the computers are able to see eachother and share files, but not the internet. The computer directly connected to the cable modem is happy, but the other computer, although it says it is connected to the internet via firewire in network status, won't load pages and whatnot. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I know this may sound silly, but did you try turning on Internet Sharing in the Network Preferences pane, ?

I was sharing my Internet connection over Firewire a really long time ago, and I remember that being one of the things I forgot to do.
