Firewire Solo Dont Work on my imac

I download the driver from the M-Audio webpage and I install the driver (FireWire OSX 1.9.3.dmg) in my MAC ( 10.6.7 64-Bit) then ... i when to the "System Preference" then to the "Audio" tap but no “M-Audio FireWire SOLO” appers there , The M-Audio interface logo apper in the applications but it says no firewire is connected ..., i dont know what to do ... please HELP
