Firewire to USB 2.0 - help needed

Both my USB ports have blown on my Macbook Pro following a small spillage which must have gone into the ports. I have been told it will cost over AU$1400 to replace the motherboard . My firewire port is still working - can anyone tell me if there is a Firewire to USB 2.0 hub ( or adapter)?

They don't exist. The ones that where posted above work only for DV cameras, not full Firewire to USB. The two are just too different for any conversion.

I don't know if anybody makes that, but if someone does it might be this company, and you might have to email them for information. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. Eljanitor I have emailed them and hopefully they will have a solution. Not having USB ports is a really big problem as you can imagine!!
