iMeowbot said:There are adapters like this one that will let you use a SATA drive in a more common IDE enclosure. You'll want to make sure that you get a roomy enclosure so that the board will fit. (Careful when buying these adapters, most are made to put parallel drives onto a SATA cable, just the opposite of what you want.)
The only other board I know about is made by Startech, erm (click click) try googling for SATA2ATA133. If you want to do it without a bridge board, ugly enclosures seem to be the rule :/Platform said:Thanks a lot....any more![]()

Black aluminum with smoked caps. Not cheap at $54, but supports SATA running from a USB 2.0 connection.

This one from Komplett isn't too ugly, ok it might not win any design awards, but still...

Not sure about the red and green light on this one, but it's NOK100 cheaper than the one above...
Cannot find any SATA enclosures with FireWire, though...![]()

G-Technology also has one, but it looks like they don't sell them without drives:

I gather that the tough part is finding a supplier of this stuff who is somewhere vaguely near to Norway.TechZone said:
Not a good choice, though, 'coz it's USB2.kaidomac said:This one from AMS Venus is pretty nice looking:
