Firewire2 Question

i'd appreciate a simple explanation of the comparative speed between uwscsi and firewire2. which is faster...at least in theory because fw2 drives aren't available yet. and would running fw2 off of a pci card effect it's performance?

i'm just curious about their audio recording viability.

Ultra Wide SCSI tops out at 40MB/s while Firewire 2 will top out at 100MB/s. You figure it out.
