Firfox Saved Passwords/time machine

Is it possible to recover FF saved passwords via time machine?

I would guess so, since it's a direct restore of the OS at that time.

myself i use the sync feature to backup everything in firefox. it is faster easier and more practical.

Depends on what you mean by restore. If you mean, recovering your own passwords, I guess you can. These passwords are stored (unless I'm wrong) in the Keychain app, so you would have to find the specific version of the file containing the passwords, and restore it.

If you mean "could other persons recover my password", no, since Keychain asks for an admin password to be unlocked.
