Firmware 2.2 didn't mention the new in-ear Apple headphones

So not a word on the new headphones should we give up?

The old iPod nano got an update to support them but the iPhone seems to be left out, maybe it's time to purchase some other headphones?

No mention of the iPhone on the store page either. So I guess it's either wait for 2.3 or a new iPhone if there is a hardware requirement for them to work. Either way you're probably better off buying some other headphones. Not that there is a lot of choice though...

It's a mess with these headphones, i think i will wait until they are released and maybe some magazine or website will test them with the iPhone so we can se what will and wont work with them.
