They're not the same aren't they? So If I were to downgrade a firmware v. 4.3.3 iPhone 4, the baseband stays as it was? :confused:
 
no they are not the same baseband can not be downgraded in a 3gs or I4 firmware can be in you have saved shsh blobs along the way. firmware is for jailbreaking the baseband is for unlocking unless it's a factory unlock if you upgraded to 4.3.3 with out taking precautions and have one of those your stuck the only option is the Grevey Sim for unlocking. about 20-30 bucks and in the grey area of legality. my signature has a link you can check to see if you can jailbreak or unlock and what tools work.
