I have an iPod touch 4g. I had 2 gigs being taken up in the other category, and this being only an 8 gig ipod, i read that i needed to restore it to get my space back. I didnt realize that it updates your ipod to the latest firmware D:

I was
-Running 4.2.1 iOS
-Jailbroken (greenpoison)
-Had 2GB of OTHER data

Now
-Running 4.3.5
-Not Jailbroken
-Still have 200mb of OTHER.....Damn

I tried downgrading to 4.3.3, but that didnt work (3194 error). I also have a ton of IPA cracked apps which are now useless to me... sadly
I dont want to deal with a Tethered Jailbreak. I need to know how I can downgrade successfully. And i wouldnt mind knowing how to ge rid of OTHER

Any help will be appreciated! Thanks :D!

The only way to downgrade is with SHSH blobs... Seeing as you did an unexpected update, you probably did not save your SHSH blobs... Anyways, your stuck with iOS 4.3.5... Might as well restore clean and lead a stock iOS until another untethered jailbreak comes out for iOS 5...

By the way, cracked apps are a form of piracy... :( Which are not talked about on MacRumors.
