Firmware Question.

I have an iPhone 4 running 4.0.2 but I'm currently downloading the iOS 4.1 GM but I was wondering if the iPhone 4 would be able to run iOS 2.2.1 ? It says its for the 3G, will it work? I wanna go back to before 3.0.

EDIT* okay nevermind, doesn't work. Installing 4.1 GM I'm not going another week with these proximity issues.

nope.

as far as I know, only the iPhone 3G can be downgraded down to a 2.X.X operatine system. Also, currently, theirs no way to even downgrade the iPhone 4 past 4.0.2, once you upgrade, your stuck.
