Anyone know (or wish to speculate) if the older TC's will get a software update to get some of the features of the newer TC's?

I'm not sure I could figure out what the hardware differences are between the older TC's and the one just released. Any help here?

I do not think we will see a software update because the majority of the updates such as the dual frequency feature (which is the biggest feature of the update) require new hardware.

I read that there will be an update soon to add the remote file sharing at least. There may be other features, but that is what I have been wanting, and is all I remember.

Well the dual band is really the only thing I care about; I had the Linksys WRT600N from 2 years ago and it had simultaneous dual band; however reception wasn't very and the thing was $300.

It's good to see the AEBS with the same feature, hopefully reception is as good as the older AEBS.
