Firmware update not recognizing Superdrive

Last week I ran my updates, and downloaded/installed the Superdrive firmware update, but after the restart, and every restart after, a pop up comes up when OS X loads that says "No Updatable Devices Found No devices were found that require this firmware update". Any suggestions on how to either remove this update or reinstall this package?
