Hi guys.
i got my macbook a month ago.
i run the software update regularly. but what about firmware updates? how can i download them? where do i get the for my macbook c2d? and how do i downlaod them?

Firmware updates appear in the software updater as well. If you open software update and it tells you that your system is currently up to date, then there's nothing for you do to. You already have the latest software and firmware updates available.

P.S. I believe the last firmware upgrade for the Macbook came out many months ago, so you shouldn't have to upgrade it for a while, if ever
 
They are downlaoded with the rest of the software updates but you need to run them manually.

You'll find them in Applications-Utilities, on here they are called Mac mini EFI Firmware Update.app and Mac mini SMC Firmware Update.app I guess your will be named slightly different ;-)
