Hi all,

I bought the AW 7 as my first one ever and I'm quite undecided about the size. I've tried both sizes in store and went for the 45mm in the end because I had the feeling it's better in terms of usability. After wearing it for 2 days now I'm not still sure.

Somehow a size in between would be perfect :D My wrist has 180 mm btw.

What is your first impression after checking the photos? (first one is the 45mm). Happy about every opinion.

Thanks!

Both look fine on you. I have smaller wrists than you and am trying to decide on both as well. The 41mm is more of a traditional sized watch and feels good and looks sharp… the 45mm however looks more like a computer but it has better usability and readability. BTW I normally wear regular watches of size 37-42mm.

I’m leaning more to the 45mm because of the above reasons.

I'm going through the same situation but you're lucky to have both on hand to compare... with the shortage I wasn't able to do that.

Since it's my first Apple Watch too I ordered the 41mm first and it looked fine but thought it was a little small. I didn't like the Starlight color anyway so returned it and was able to snag a 45mm Midnight. I like the color so much better but it's huge on my 178mm wrist and while I love the bigger screen it's just not going to work. I could just see myself banging the 45mm on something it's so big.

I've come to the conclusion a 41mm is too small and a 45mm is way too big... a 43mm would probably be the ideal size. Lol! So here I wait for a 41mm Midnight to come back in stock and expecting a long wait.

I prefer larger watches. I have quite a few Invicta watches; so, you get the point.
As for my AW, it is the 44mm sized one.

Based on your photos, I think it depends on where you like the watch to sit on your wrist. That last photo, to me, the larger fits better. But, from some of the other photos, it seems you prefer your watch near your wrist bone. And, to me, the smaller one 'looks' better...
