First charge on new PB??

Greetings,

My new Powerbook is supposed to arrive tomorrow by 10:30, shipped from Taiwan. What is the best way to handle the first charge? I have been told to let the battery charge for 24 hours before running the computer unplugged; I was told that I can use the computer during this time as long as it is plugged in.

Make sense? Do you have different advice?

Read the manual that comes with your PB. It explains how to calibrate the battery.

I think it's like fully charge, then discharge. I'm sure you can use the computer though. It should speed up the discharging process!

Read the manual and you should be fine. Had my 12" PB since Nov. and have had no issues with the battery.
