First damage to my 2.5 years old PowerBook

I bought my PowerBook 12" in September 2005, and still using it everyday. It has had its share of problems, but so long no user damage. Until yesterday.

On my commute back home my shoulder bag with the laptop (in a second skin) sat on the seat next to me. For some reason it fell off. Back home I noticed an ugly dent at the corner where the power plug goes in. Unfortunately the power plug didn't fit anymore. Some help from my father, a piece of wood, and a hammer later, it all fits again . Sure doesn't look pretty though.

But it doesn't really bother me, the PowerBook is great

Hey, if it still works, that's all you need. Props to you for not getting caught in the fool's chase to keep up with Apple's update cycle.

Heh, I'm starting to see how that is not foolish though. I can barely use any Flash content, Leopard slows to a crawl when Time Machine takes control, and even text editing is slow in Xcode 3

But they don't make them 12" anymore
