is it dependent on 10.1 or will it work with 10.0.x?

how has it been compared to 3.0 on gen 1 (or series zero)

3.0 has worked really well for me compared to watchos2

It appears the battery life issues have been resolved compared to Watch OS 3.0. My Gen one stainless runs beautifully and easily survives longer than 12 hours on a full charge.

Updated last night, took off the charger at 06:30 - by 14:30 it's down to 10% - no change in usage - so for me it's not been great.

I'm hoping it's the first day battery issues that have caused the problem. Tomorrow I'll bring my charge cable, if it's still useless I'll contact Barclaycard and look at a section 75 refund of the device.

This is as anecdotal as it gets, but my watch had the same rate of battery drain the day after the update and a full charge. But day 2 or so onwards, it has been remarkable. Where I would have been at 75% battery life remaining after 10 hours of usage before, I am at 85%.

It's good.... Am I the only one that is getting very very low boot times compared to watch os2?

My series 0 Apple Watch seems to have slightly better battery life following watchOS 3.1.

Lets hope thats the case, but for me it's day two* and after 3 hours of the same usage I'm down to 68%

*I did put it on the charger last night for an hour or so as I was going out - went from 70% to 5% in around 3 hours.
I'll be tweeting @Applesupport in a bit to update them.

Spoken to Apple Support this afternoon - they tried to get the remote diagnostics working to check the battery but that didn't work - so I'll reset the watch and try again tomorrow.
