Hi there

This might be a silly question and a bit outdated! Anyway, I still have the first iPhone 2G laying around which I bought straight from the Apple website when it came out in the UK. I never used the sim that came with it, as I unlocked it straight away. So my question is if I can now “official” unlock it via O2 and if so, how? The sim that came with the iPhone back then was for a monthly contract. As I never registered my sim, will I still be able to get it unlocked by them? Since the only option back then was for a monthly contract, can I just put in the sim without having used the sim and get it unlocked for free? Or should I get a Pay as You Go sim and use that and pay the £15? I’ve remember reading somewhere that I should at least have made a couple of calls on their sim before it would be possible.

Thanks
