first iphone 3g ad on UK tv tonight, why?

hey just seen first iphone 3g advert on uk telly in middle of big brother ad break, but why advertise it when its sold out most shops, why not wait till its easier to get. more of apple and 02s HYPE machine i think !!!

Well - yes - it is hype! thats what advertising is about.

I saw the add run during 'The Street' at about 7:50 (Yorkshire region - may be different for others) & NO I was NOT watching it - wife had it on

Folks - bear in mind they would have bought these tv slots a while before today. If O2 had actually done a decent job, these ads wouldn't be minded a bit. (bar general stock availability)
