I got my Macbook Air 13' 2011 earlier this year. I've used it every day for about 10 hours a day + (usually sits next to my dev machine unused mostly
).
This morning I go to open the lid and I get the gray screen with the Apple symbol then a spinning cog wheel - which doesn't stop for a good few mins as I went to get my coffee.
Holding down the power button to shut it off and powering it back up fixed it - I'm in and back to normal.
Should I be worried? Should I do any tests? I've used Windows since I was 5 but this is my first Mac. lol. Chkdsk ? Any memory tests?
Considering this is the first and only "issue" (a very minor one) I've *ever* had with this amazing laptop, really REALLY happy with the Macbook Air. Already anticipating saving up for another one next year.
Thanks,
-Paul
