First Mac (G4) and need help with Que! Fire

Ok so here is my situation. I have always been a PC guy and know basically nothing about how a Mac works and my gf's parents gave us their G4 with a Que! Fire for free since my old dell crashed. I have the Que! fire plugged in properly and the disc that goes with it in the computers regualr disc drive, but after I run the disc installations I still can't find the Que! Fire. I know on a PC I can jsut go to My Computer and find whatever it is that's plugged in to it but I have no idea how to find anything on a Mac. Also, even after running the installation disc and I go into Itunes I still can't get anything to burn. Anybody able to maybe give me a walkthrough on how to do the installation and what I might be doing wrong?
