First Mac Virus (Trojan)?

I know this is not strictly a virus since you have to allow the app to take control etc. but does anybody know any more information about this? What does it pretend to be?

Not to mention it's old news and from what I've read been patched since then.

It kills me the news topics when this first came out.. yah I know it's a big deal but the idea/concept behind a trojan horse is the same for ANY platform. I quote one user who puts it in perspective for all computer users regardless of OS...

Haha, so you first have to actually download it AND open it afterwards? Some trojan- this goes for ANY script people write on ANY platform...sigh
