Hi hope someone can help I Have just bought a MacBook Air 11 running a 1.7GHz core i7 8gb ram 121 gbSsd In my rush to buy this I didn’t ask how old it was,any chance that anybody might know it’s running on 10.8.5 thanks

If you gave us the model number, we’d be better able to give you a definite answer.

Do not give us your serial number. The model number typically starts with an M and has a / and a couple digits or letters after the /.

But you can also enter the model number into google and that’ll give you the machines specs and dates of production.

Also on Apple’s support site, you can check it’s warranty status. Put the serial number into the site to check the warranty info. While it’s warranty is obviously likely expired, the website will also tell you what date the machine was originally sold.
