The hub of stupidity
Today, Apple's shipments of new MacBook Pros have started to trickle out to stores and the first to order them. Gizmodo has graciously posted the first gallery of comparison photos between the 13" and 15" models, showing both the new SD card slots and Firewire ports.

From the pictures, you are able to see that the 13" model does not have the audio-in jack like it's larger sibling, and that both of the new laptops have a single-piece sealed metal back.

Wish they would do a comparison shot on the screens.

Oh and I think I saw something on apples site about the audio jack on the 13" being dual function with both input and output, it may not be apple but I saw it somewhere, and I am pretty sure it was them.

Color me impressed with the new updates and pricing, however I think this would have been an excellent time to bump the 15" to 1650x1050 and the 13" to 1440x900 to go with their dense PPI sibling.

yeah its dual function digital out and analog in

from apple.com: "combined optical digital output/headphone out with selectable analog audio line in"

If money were no object I would get both.

I noticed refurb pros starting at $1350 last night, and splurged on the 2.53 this afternoon after nearly getting the 2.4.

But it was a tough choice, I am thinking of trying to go back to school, and Leaning heavy toward the new 13" but $1050 off the old pro was just too good a deal to pass up.

Hopefully it wont be too much of a chunk only weighing like a lb more.

Speaking of the screens, look at that glare!

I saw some sort of add on you could get to kill the glare on the new unibodys.

I cant remember if it was like a giant screen protector or otherwise.
