The tense on this post is really screwed up...are you asking the first songs people transferRED to their iPods?

Please consider proofreading.

I have no idea what the first song I listened to on my iPod was, nor the first song I transferred to it. My first (and only) iPod, though, is a 2nd Generation 4GB Green iPod mini.

I believe for most people the very first song to the very first iPod would be his/her most fav. song.

Me > We Are The World by USA for Africa > iPod Photo 30G.

Yeah yeah thats wht i'm asking...sorry if it was unclear...

First iPod was a 40GB 4G.

First song was probably Face Down, Ass Up by 2 Live Crew considering it come first in my library. I've never actually heard it though. Maybe I'll listen now... :)

My first iPod was/is my 20gig 4G colour, which my wife bought me for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. I keep my library in Artist order, so if iTunes transfers in library order, it would have been "When I'm Gone" by 3 Doors Down.

Cool song. Cool wife.

15gb 3G iPod, transfered my whole library over while charging it, so really wasn't a first song...

I transferred 800 songs onto my blue mini right away, so there wasn't really a first transferered song.

I'm pretty sure my first song played was Hit 'Em Up by Tupac :D

First iPod -- 15 gig 3G. Oh yes. the MAGIC generation (click wheels BOTHER me.... :p)

first song I listened to on it- Uhm.. I dunno. I think it was Bartok Romanian Folk Dances for Violin. I love that piece... <3 <3

My first iPod was (and is) a green 1G mini.

When I first connected it to iTunes it instantly tried to sync the entire library (which already was bigger than 4 GB back in February 2004), so I had to stop it and start over with some playlists.

There's a good chance that "These Boots Are Made For Loving" by 7 Seconds or "Little Red Riding Hood" by 999 was the first songs onto it, as they would have been on top of the library, back then.

I have no idea what the first song I played was.

One music related first, is first song bought on iTMS: Reasons to Be Miserable (His Name Is Marvin) [Rock Mix] by Steven Fry from The Marvin Mixes.

I got a 2nd Gen 20G waaaaaayyyy back when they came out. Such a luxury machine back then.

First song I listened to on it? I have no idea.

On my Nano I think it was Mars Volta, something off of Frances the Mute.
