First time battery arrived 100% dead

My in store pickup 6+ was fully charged and my delivered 6 was completely dead...... first time for both for me lol. Any other battery DOA,s out there?

Was 4th inline for pick up so was in and out by 0830. Congrats to all that got their phones, hang in there for all of those still waiting! Still trying to learn to type on this monster#

We've heard reports of unintended activation of the iPhone 6/6+ after preordering. Any chance this battery-depleted 6 was turned on unintentionally and left to drain?

Fixed..... Should of payed closer attention but I work nights so was working on a few hours of sleep over the last 36 hours. Sorry for the confusion as I hate vague headlines.

Phone is fine but it was literally dead as a door nail out of the box. Freaked me out at first as I thought it was inop so I plugged it into the charger and it eventually sprang to life. I've had phones with low charge before but never dead.
 
My i5 battery was dead as a dodo upon unboxing, and it took a good 10 mins for the charging symbol to appear. 14 months on and the battery is still holding up well. iOS7 drains the hell out of it but the battery tests well and drains fully down, staying at 1% for a fair while.

Yeah it's holding a charge fine. Did it freak you out at first with your 5? I had already had to go get another sim for the 6 because the one that I was going to use that came with the 6+ (used the wife's upgrade so it killed her sim when the guy "activated" it) but it didn't work. Thought I'd have to go fight it out at apple for a replacement.

This happen when I got my new 15" rMBP from Apple.
