Sad day, as my Macbook took its first big fall after a number of months of safe keeping.

Luckily, it was in my leather bag, which was on my kitchen counter. There is a very tiny, tiny dent in the front side of the Macbook next to the apple logo, nothing major or overly noticeable.

The bad news is there is a slight rattle to the screen, it seems right in the hinge corners, when moving the laptop around. Is this something to be worried about, or can it be fixed? Seems as if it just came the slightest bit loose.

Anyone else have a similar experience? What did you do?

The noise your hearing others are too but not from dropping. It's the batteries moving slightly

The battery is glued in place, more likely the hinge
