Some of the things I have installed:
IntelliScreenX, Activator, Zephyr, Springtomize 2, biteSMS, CloseEnhancer, WeatherIcon, Zeppelin, SwipeSelection, OpenNotifier, MusicBanners or Jukebox, Forecast, FastClear, Dashboard X, PasswordPilot, SpotDict.
dhlizard is arguably the most knowledgeable and helpful forum member. Everyday someone asks what are the best Cydia tweaks. It's so common that you wouldn't even have to search. You would just have to scroll down the list of threads. You asked a question and he pointed you to the answers. Don't get upset because he didn't rattle off his favorite tweaks. If you look at some of the other threads just like yours you'll see other new members got much ruder treatment lol. Don't sweat it.
But of course since you're new here I don't expect you should know who dhlizard is and therefore, no hard feelings.
On a daily basis I use activator, bitesms, sbsettings (or ncsettings), lockinfo, springtomize 2, folder enhancer, swipeshiftcaret, and zephyr. And I LOVE F.lux!

Sorry, not being rude at all, just encouraging you to scroll down the list of existing threads without being condescending.
Many would have replied "if I were new here and wanted some recommendations, I would scroll down at least 2 pages and see what I could find". That might have been just a bit rude, my reply was not !
