First time registering my Iphone

Ive had my iphone for awhile now. I have all contacts, sms, picture, ect on the phone already. If i register my iphone for the first time will it loose all my information thats already on my phone? I plugged it in and its asking to register as a new phone. I didnt push it because ive accidently erased my phone plenty of times. How do i register my phone without loosing my info that already on it?

Since you didn't sync and backup your phone when it was new, you need to transfer all your data from the phone to iTunes before the first sync and backup, or you will lose it. It sure would have been much easier if you had done this when you bought it.
