Grabbed both at Apple this weekend.

The ANC is neat but hard to wear for more than 30-60 minutes with the tips.

Meanwhile the Gen 2 don't sound quite as crisp but haven't left my ears and practically forget they are there.

Have a pair of refurb Gen 3 coming from eBay. Will be interesting to see how they stack up.
