Bought an SE this weekend and so far pretty good. I have an app for my son's daycare, My Bright Day, that sends push notifications for various events. This morning it sent two notifications, which popped up on my watch - excellent! However, the rest of the notifications today have only come up on my phone.

The two notifications that had come through had a "ding" sound when they came through. I only want haptics from my watch, never sound. So I'd gone into notifications and toggled off "Sounds" for the My Bright Day app. That's the only thing I've changed. Is that potentially what's stopped the notifications from coming to my watch? Anything else I could be missing? Thanks!

This article may be of help.

I'm nearly certain I did not have my phone unlocked when the notifications came in. Barring my watch or phone having dropped a wifi signal, in my house, when they came through I really don't know what happened. I read that whole guide and nothing aside from what I noted in my original post was different besides turning the sound notification to off.

Is there any possibility/is it a known issue that push notifications between the phone and watch are missed sometimes?
