Hey everyone on the Macrumors community!

Well I'm moderately new to video editing, and I would like to get into it.

currently I am on a MacBook OS X Version 10.4.11.

I would like to find a good video editing software to use to edit videos for youtube and etc.

I have a screen recorder, iShowU.

Ideas?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

iMovie. No questions asked.

I'd say your best bet would be to start with iMovie - it should meet all your needs for now, until you're ready to get into some more serious stuff. Then I'd recommend looking at Final Cut Express.

I recommend Screenflow at all costs. If you move a window with iShowU, the image becomes very blurry. I also recommend iMovie (which should be included on your Mac) for basic - medium video editing purposes. Once you are very familiar with iMovie, move onward to Final Cut Express, as mentioned above.
