Very cool. But the question is - can you make it work for a family of four? It’s my understanding you have to “tie” the HomePod to a single phone, correct? So if I (the dad the home) tied my phone to it, no one else would be able to use it to check their messages or make calls from their phones, correct?

Would be nice if that were resolved - so that my daughter could say something like “Hey Siri, this is Olivia, play my voicemails” and it would know to use her phone...

Only one phone or account per HomePod.

Also, "hey Siri" takes over on the HomePod for everyone in the house, even the main account, even though she can't do most things that you are about to request. She just says "I can't do that on HomePod" even if you were trying to use Hey Siri on your phone.
