So i finally got a Macbook Pro after a few years of back and forth waffling. I have had it for about 3 days now and I must say its pretty cool to have everything come together from your iphone and icloud a laptop. I keep trying to reach for my phone but everything is on the MBP now which is odd (text, find my friends, etc..)
I am heavily entrenched in the Windows world though, no way i can leave it fully. I use it at work for multiple software suites and automation systems that i program in which I do a lot of this stuff at home as well in my own time as i just love doing it.
On to my questions regarding dual booting with windows 10...

On to my questions regarding dual booting with windows 10...
- I bought a 2017 MBP 15" 256GB. How much will be initially be available after fresh installs of each? I have 1TB of One Drive storage and also my Apple ICloud storage so i doubt there would be any issues? I could always return it I guess and go for the 512gb if i decide to keep it and permanently go this route.
- Instead of using the MBP's internal storage to dual boot windows. Could I run windows off an external drive and use one of the USB-C ports to connect the drive when i wanted to run it? I imagine if i wanted to do this I would hook up the external drive before running parallels and point the install directory to the drive? If that is even an option?
