I just ditched my Verizon for AT&T's FirstNet. Ive been with Verizon for about 10 years after leaving AT&T due to their slow rollout of LTE back in 2010 or so.
Now that I can get FirstNet, and testing out their network for a few days, I decided to switch. Ive been getting over 100 Mbit/sec download speeds along most of my travel route home on LTE and have been pleased with it so far. At work im seeing speeds over 200 Mb/sec, faster than ive ever seen on Verizon. My account is provisioned for 5G, and 5G is blanketed in my area, per the AT&T website. ive only seen 5Ge so far in my travels and just wanted to know if any other FirstNet users out there have seen 5G on their devices since FirstNet has enabled 5G capability on their core network. FirstNet says the SIM card and account are 5G enabled and I should be seeing it, but im still showing only LTE. the LTE speeds are comparable to Verizons LTE/5G speeds in my area, so not a huge issue. however was wondering if there's still a slow rollout of enabling of FirstNet accounts along the network or am I missing something.
