Fish Tank Protein Skimmer

Hey I know this is pretty random but I was wondering for everyone with fish tanks, what type of protein skimmer you use. I am looking to put one in my 20 gallon saltwater tank and I just wanted some input.

What ever you do, do not buy the SeaClear Protein Skimmer that you can find at Petsmart for cheap. I bought the large one for $100 and it never worked.

I'm mostly fresh but have done saltwater tanks from time to time.
