I'm looking for a hard-sleeve to protect my 15" rMBP while in a backpack or briefcase (especially to protect it from pressure from books/power bricks/objects inside the bags), and to do it without adding _that_ much bulk.

I came across the Thule Gauntlet and the Booq Viper. I'm aware these have been commented on in previous threads, but I don't believe the specific matter of their fit and internal dimensions have been discussed here.

How much wiggle room is there inside each of these cases? Which one fits better?

They're both advertised as for the 15", but only the Viper appears to be advertised for the _retina_ MBP--though their internal thickness both appears to be .9", according to their websites.

In short, I'm worried the Thule was made for the cMBP and has yet to be updated and so will have too much room and the rMBP will shake around in it.

Any experience/thoughts? Alternatives?
