At first I had titled this “Fitbit owner switching to Apple Watch” and realized that this may give the wrong idea and had a good chuckle.

Anyways, I am very excited to be receiving my LTE Series 3 today! I just had some questions for existing owners on the fitness features. I am switching from a Fitbit that I heavily used for workout tracking and sleep data.

  1. I am interested in continuing tracking my sleep and am shocked to find out the Apple Watch doesn’t natively track this. AutoSleep for $2.99 seems like a great app. Anyone else use it?
  2. I also have a Fitbit Aria smart scale. I am now interested in also using Health on iOS but realize that Health and the Fitbit app don’t talk. I found a loophole for weight tracking though, if I sync Fitbit to Lose it, Lose It can then share my weight data to Health. It does not transfer over my BMI percentage though. Do you guys use other apps that may be able to use this data as well?
  3. For running, I really like the ability of starting a lap workout when doing speed workouts at the track. Does anyone else use the watch for this? Does it track laps with while running through the Workouts App or does something like Nike+ do the trick?
