Seem like it counts your time up and moving and how your heart rate rises, which is great, but what about using the accelerometer to count reps when lifting and track that daily? I know they sell other bands for this, like the push band which is really interesting, but would be cool if the watch could do it.

Hopefully iPhone app developers can use the watch accelerometer to do more tracking like counting reps, sets, and what about velocity?

They didn't go into much detail about fitness tracking.
