I tried to start a workout on my phone, but it says Apple Watch Unavailable. Everything has been updated today, both phone and watch are on same Apple ID, Bluetooth is on, and my watch shows up an connected in the Bluetooth section of Settings on my phone. I can't figure out the issue. Anyone else having this issue?

Just FYI - I reset my Watch and set it up as a new Watch, and that worked.

I don’t know if that’s the only fix, but it worked for me.

Same problem. I tried toggling Bluetooth off/on on my watch and my phone. I reset my watch (from a backup, I don’t want to lose all my previous data) and re-downloaded the fitness app. Still says my watch is unavailable :(

My Apple watch was unable to find my phone. Found this post and noticed that Bluetooth was turned off on my watch. Seems to work now after turning it on

Same problem, fixed by turning bluetooth off and back on from my watch settings

Tried to toggle bluetooth on and off again, already had to reset watch yesterday and nothing... guess I’ll try resetting watch again

I just toggled bluetooth on/off on my watch, then shut down my iphone and turned it back on and that worked.

Same here. :( I’ve unpaired my watch and setup as a new watch. Restarted iphone and iPad Pro. Toggled Bluetooth several times and still nothing works on either devices. Unsure what to do next..

Position your Apple Watch and iPhone very close to each other for pairing. try to connect your apple watch to your iphone again, there may be a connection error. If it fails, then break the pair between the devices and create it again.
