I am trying to connect my LG 34UM58 P ultrawide monitor ( http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-34UM58-P-ultrawide-monitor ) to a Mac Pro 1,1. The problem is my graphics card has DVI Dual Link output only. Converters don't work for resolutions higher than 1920*1080 because HDMI doesn't support Dual Link.
So the most cost effective solution would be find a replacement graphics card that would run on my computer. I use it for music, I don't need any functions other than running 2560*1080 screen resolution.
Any suggestions?
