Five-Column SpringBoard Crashes IPHONE4!

I've been running Five-Column SpringBoard just fine up until I uninstalled SmoothBoard via Rock (AWFUL DECISION...). Immediately after uninstalling SmoothBoard via Rock my iphone 4 crashed and was put in safe mode. I could not leave safe mode until I uninstalled Five-Column Springboard.

Now I ask the question...Why on earth would installing SmoothBoard affect my Five-Column Springboard in anyway? How are these two events linked to eachother? Was it because of Rock? Any help is appreciated.

Well I guess it's time to do a full restore on my iphone 4 and re-jailbreak it...what a pain in the neck...

They both modify the springboard. There's a very good chance they'll step on each others toes, codewise.

Is Five Column Springboard compatible with iOS4? From checking the spreadsheet it says no, but that spreadsheet isn't exactly fully up to date. I KNOW Iconoclasm has an iOS4 version because I use it every day

Five Column Springboard was very compatible with iphone 4 and had absolutely no problems with it up until i uninstalled smootboard via rock. Rock is garbage when it comes to uninstalling so I have a feeling this was the cause but I don't know how to fix it...So time to restore.

+1 for sure. Rock completely screwed up Cydia for me yesterday, but I was able to get Cydia working again by restoring it using PkgBackup. Trust me, as soon as I was able to get back in to Cydia, Rock came off my phone in a flash.
