I was just wondering, is there a way in OS X Lion to make certain applications open in a preset desktop instead of me having to move the window manually through Mission Control? For example, I want A and B to always open in Desktop 1 while C will only open in Desktop 2, regardless of which desktop I double-click the app in.

Move to the Desktop you want the app to open in
Open the app (or at least have the app icon in your dock)
Right click on the icon in Dock
Go to Options
Under the section "Assign To" select This Desktop to assign the app to your current desktop.

Apple made this WAAAAY less user friendly in Lion.
