I really found it silly that you need two hands to use the MagSafe charger. Might as well just plug the phone in. Before returning it, I decided to try fixing the problem. I made a holder so you can undock the phone with one hand by tilting it. I think I will keep it now for nightstand use.

Spigen Mag Fit Designed for MagSafe Charger Pad Case - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LP8PSX7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_pbjWFbB17KKJ3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

This might be an option too...
I like the idea of the holder but what is done to improve one specific use might hinder another. Unlike normal wireless chargers you can use MagSafe while holding your phone. Many people like to use their phones while charging. Adding a large pad around the charger might make it awkward to hold or become unattached by accident. IDK since I've never tried this. It looks like a great idea for those who want just charging on the desk though.

ehh just buy a car magnet mount and build something into your side table or a standing ball mount. I really don't see the use for these pucks. I don't like my phone flat much if ever and two handed use doesn't seem great.

I got the Spigen puck in white and it solves the problem, plus it has a rubber ring on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. I also have the Spigen clear case on my iPhone so the magnets work, but not as strong as direct contact, making it easier to lift off.

I just got the MagSafe Duo charger and while it isn't weighted much, it is heavier than just the puck. I had no trouble removing my 12 Pro from it one handed this morning.
